Newsome Donation to Kirklees Youth Alliance

As part of our Social Value Plan for the Hart Street, Newsome development for Yorkshire Housing — delivered through the Innovation Chain North framework — we're delighted to donate to Kirklees Youth Alliance.

KYA is a small but impactful charity supporting over 120 youth organisations across Kirklees, helping children and young people aged 8+ access safe spaces, activities and support outside of school. Working with Yorkshire Housing, we shortlisted several local causes before selecting KYA for their strong values and broad community reach.

Our contribution will support their new term-time youth programme in partnership with the One Community Foundation, including plans to employ their first professional Youth Worker.
