Termrim Construction is delivering 113 mixed-tenure homes for Yorkshire Housing under a JCT Design & Build contract, comprising two-, three- and four-bedroom semi-detached and detached properties for affordable rent and shared ownership.

Constructed on greenfield land, the scheme includes significant new infrastructure works and adopts both 2013 and 2021 Part L standards. A fabric-first approach underpins delivery, with enhanced thermal detailing, energy-efficient boilers, advanced heating controls, EV charging points and PV panels installed to the 2021 plots (96.59kW total output). Extensive landscaping and biodiversity measures, including swales, woodland planting, wildflower meadows, hedgehog highways, and bat and bird boxes, support environmental enhancement.

Appointed following the previous contractor’s administration, Termrim resolved substantial redesign, planning and statutory approval issues, including high-voltage power line diversion and complex infrastructure coordination. Proactive stakeholder engagement with Yorkshire Housing, the Local Authority and local residents has helped rebuild confidence and maintain programme momentum.
